A California native raised in Washington, Holly's education, training and passion for history is a definite asset for the Meeker Mansion Museum. After studying abroad at the University College Cork in Ireland, Holly earned her bachelors degree in Anthropology and History from the University of Denver in 2014. After interning at the Aspen Historical Society, she returned to Washington and began volunteering at Meeker Mansion. Holly joined the Meeker Mansion Museum staff in 2017 and has been working with our dedicated and experienced volunteers sharing Puyallup Valley history with the public ever since. Holly recently received recognition through the Heritage League of Pierce County for her exceptional work creating educational posts on Meeker Mansion social media accounts. She is currently leading the major re-housing project for thousands of Museum artifacts at Meeker Mansion.

Volunteering at Meeker Mansion is a fun way to meet people and give back to our community. Whether you want to be a docent, participate in event activities, assist with restoration projects and grounds maintenance, or help with research and archiving in our extensive collection of priceless artifacts and ephemera, there's something for everyone at Meeker Mansion. With a roster of more than 70 volunteers, you can sign up for as little or as much time as you have available.
